"No Wave" at Koshien?

Discussion in the Ask the Commish forum
"No Wave" at Koshien?
OK, no cans or bottles inside the stadiums here makes sense. But has anyone noticed the "No Wave" sign that is painted on the wall as you enter Koshien from the 1-rui alps side? Does anyone know the origin of this? It appears to be quite dated. Was there any particular reason to prompt Koshien to "ban" the wave? Very curious.
