This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

A couple of the best known books have been helpful, but I've been left with a series of questions about the home cites of some franchises. For example:
- Hankyu between 1936 and '46 did they always play in Osaka?
- Where did the Eagles play betwwen 1937 and '39?
- Did Nankai always play out of Osaka between 1938 and '44?
- Where did Kurowashi play in 1940 and 41?
- Did Tsubasa play in Tokyo in 1940?
- Where did Taiyo play in 1941 and '42; Kawasaki?
- And Asahi, was Tokyo their home between 1941 and '44?
- In 1942 and 43 some lists have a Daiwa others Yamato; same team? And where did they play?
- Where did Nishitetsu play in 1943?
- In 1944, did Kinki Nippon play in Osaka and Sangyo in Nagoya?
- In 1946, where did Pacific, Chuba Nihon (Nagoya?) and the Senators (Tokyo?) play?
- Between 1947 and '54, did the Robins always play in Kawasaki?
- Between 1947 and '73, did the Flyers always play in Tokyo?
- Between 1950 and '58, did the Pearls always play in Osaka?
- Were the Swallows consistently in Tokyo from 1951 to '65?
- And the Atoms, from 1966 to '73, too?
I know this is quite the list of questions, but of course franchise names rarely help answer such questions.Any help you can provide in answering these questions is appreciated.
