If I am not mistaken, the Pacific League started using the DH in 1975.
BTW, on a related note, are there any other pro leagues besides the NL in the majors and the CL in Japan that do not use the DH?

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. My buddies who I have talked to about my discoveries about NPB think it is hysterical that Japan has one DH league and another non-DH league, just like the good old USA. We also get a kick out of seeing that the Carp has a mascot similar to our Phillies Phanatic. Rock on, Slyly!
