Kyuji Fujikawa?
Is Kyuji Fujikawa Playing in the 2008 Summer Olympics? No more Hanshin or one more till MLB.

If you're referring to his name in with the 2008 Hanshin Tigers roster currently being missing, I would like you to read the notice at the top of the page.
Fujikawa just signed a day or two ago, so he hasn't been entered into the Player Meikan for 2008 yet. (I just picked up the Player Meikan issue of Shukan Baseball today and will be putting the finishing touches on the rosters over the next several days.) But he will be returning to Hanshin in 2008, and he is currently slated to participate in the Peking Olympics.
You can find more about Japan's Olympic team under the Amateur Baseball forum. I know, pros are allowed, and the Japanese team is made up of all but one pro, but I still like to think of the Olympics in the spirit of amateur competition.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world.
