This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

The short and skinny is this, when I resided in Izimusano near Kansai International Airport, I was a HUGE fan of the Kintetsu Buffaloes. I attended several games and the 2004 All-Star game while living outside of Osaka.
Now I live outside of Seoul, and am becoming a regular fan of KBO. I found your site recently while searching for information about Japanese Baseball because I am writing an article about the "Top 5 Things to Bring to a Baseball Game" for Yahoo! Contributor Network. Ironically, I think they are expecting things like Hot Dogs and Beer, but ooooh it's going to be nice to see what they think when I submit my Top 5 around Korean Baseball Games. =)
Anyway, back to my Question.
What happened to the Kintetsu Buffaloes? When did they go under? Or did they get bought out by another team?
Cheers
