PITCHf/x and sabermetrics in Japan

PITCHf/x and sabermetrics in Japan
I recently learned that the PITCH f/x system (in operation in all MLB parks for several years) has been installed in at least one park in the Japan Leagues. Do you know which one this is?

Also, how involved are Japan Leagues clubs in employing advanced baseball analytics? Are they using things like Woba, FIP and WAR to study and analyze ballplayer performance?

That's news to me. Do you have a source for that?

If I were to take a guess, I would say that it's either SoftBank (Fukuoka Dome) or Rakuten (Sendai) that did it. Those are the two most forward thinking teams in Japan right now.

They are not very involved with Sabermetrics, yet. SoftBank (again) has utilized Sabermetrics with their salary determination in the past. And while Bobby Valentine was in Chiba, his staff also utilized Sabermetrics to a large extent.

That isn't to say that teams don't use advanced statistics to analyze player performance. Nomura-kantoku was famous for relying on data analysis in the 1990s, but more for determining opponent weaknesses than his own teams' strengths.
