Guiel powers Yakult past Hiroshima
Aaron Guiel went 4-for-4 with a two-run homer Saturday as the
Yakult Swallows beat the Hiroshima Carp 5-1 for their first win in
three games.

Alex Ramirez broke a scoreless tie with a two-run single and
Aaron Guiel followed with his 22nd home run of the season in a
four-run sixth inning off Hiroki Kuroda (10-7). Guiel was 4-for-4 on
the night at Hiroshima Stadium.

Masanori Ishikawa (2-4) won in relief. Masato Hanada threw two
scoreless innings to pick up his second save.
