広島高橋は好投したが今季６勝目はならなかった。。前回登板の８日横浜戦で打球を胸に受け２回で降板。まだ内出血が残っている状況での先発だったが５回３安打１失点。失点は金本のソロ本塁打のみ。「痛みは多少あったが大丈夫だった。あの本塁打で向こうに流れがいってしまった。左投手が左打者にレフトに打たれてはいけない」と悔しそうな表情だった。
