また中日ウッズにやられた。４回、巨人先発高橋尚が食らった逆転３ラン。シーズン中何度も繰り返した同じ配球ミスを、大一番でも犯してしまった。敗戦を見届けた左腕は、ベンチ後方で一点を見つめたまま動けず。「１人にやられてしまった。何をするべきか。オフの間にゆっくり考えたい」。屈辱を目に焼き付け最後にロッカーへ消えた。
