This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

On July 4, the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) announced the final result of its all-star game fan votes. On the top for seven consecutive weeks from May 18, when voting started, Lee won 341,244 votes as first baseman for the East League (Samsung, Doosan, SK, and Lotte), breaking the previous record made by Lotte’s Jeong Soo-geun (340,158) in 2005. In the West League, Hanhwa’s shortstop Kim Min-jae led with 260,052 votes.
