Now that Matsui has played 9 games at Yankee Stadium he seems to have won over many NY fans. He went 10 for 32 (.313) with 2 doubles, 2 HRs, 12 RBIs, and 6 walks. He even went 9 for 20 (.450) against left-handed pitchers. His defense has been much better than the 10 different players the Yankees had in 10 years.

His next home game is 4/29 against Ichiro and the Mariners. This should be interesting.
