CPBL: Cobras sign P Jose Santiago
Another day another foreigner. The Makoto Cobras have signed right handed pitcher Jose Santiago. The 32 year old former Major Leaguer was 7-7 with a 4.55 ERA in 34 games this year with Olmecas de Tabasco of the Triple-A Mexican League. Santiago has pitched eight seasons in the Majors, compiling a 17-22 record with a 4.36 ERA in 229 appearances. Last season he appeared in 4 games with the New York Mets.
