This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

In 1996 he made his major league debut and after a few disappointing seasons with a number of teams he returned to Japan in 2003 with the Orix Buffaloes. After three lackluster years, he signed a minor league contract with the Chicago White Sox in 2006.
This season with Olmecas de Tabasco of the Triple-A Mexican League he was 5-4 with a 3.28 ERA in 16 games (8 starts). [Original Article - ET Today]
