Bears Sign 3B Brent Metheny
The La New Bears have signed third baseman Brent Metheny. The 27 year old batted .304 with 21 HRs and 70 RBIs in 93 games last season with the Winnipeg Goldeyes of the independent Northern League. Metheny also had 17 stolen bases in 21 attempts.
