Bears Sign OF Tim Raines Jr.
The La New Bears have signed 29 year old OF Tim Raines Jr. In 2008 he batted .311 with 18 HRs and 78 RBIs in 128 games with the Tucson Sidewinders (AAA). The struggling Nate Gold (.221, 4 HRs, 11 RBIs in 18 games) was released.
