This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

The Bulls have also signed 32 year old left handed pitcher Juan Pena. This year he was 5-5 with a 3.83 ERA in 17 games with Acereros de Monclova and Olmecas de Tabasco in Mexico. He throws a 93 mph four-seamer, a changeup and a slider.
In other signings the President 7-Eleven Lions have inked lefty Jesus Sanchez. The 35 year old was 7-6 with a 3.65 ERA in 16 games with the York Revolution (independent Atlantic League). The former Major Leaguer joined the Revolution this year after being released by the Oakland Athletics organization after three weeks. During that time he struggled, going 0-1 with a 12.00 for the Sacramento River Cats (Triple A Pacific Coast League). Sanchez also has experience in Asia as he pitched with the SK Wyverns (KBO) in 2005.
Sanchez features two fastballs, a two-seamer and a four-seamer, a curve ball and a change-up.
