Lions sign P Eric Wordekemper
With Dioni Soriano suffering from an elbow injury and Jon Leicester struggling the President 7-Eleven Lions have signed right handed pitcher Eric Wordekemper. The 28 year old was 3-3 with a 3.60 ERA in 42 games last season for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees of the Triple-A International League. Wordekemper possesses a 96 mile per hour fastball.

On opening day Leicester surrendered four runs as the Leos fell 5-3 to the Brother Elephants before a full house of 10,000 fans at Tianmu Stadium in Taipei.
