Monkeys sign Brian Burres
The Lamigo Monkeys have signed former Major League pitcher Brian Burres. In 2012 he was a combined 4-6 with a 5.13 ERA in 22 games with the Fresno Grizzlies (Triple A Pacific Coast League) and the Arizona Giants (Rookie League).

Burres will make approximately USD 180,000. The salary cap for foreign players, which has been abolished starting this season, was USD 12,500 per month.
