Monkeys sign P Ben Snyder
The Lamigo Monkeys have signed 27 year old left handed pitcher Ben Snyder. In 2012 he was 3-6 with a 4.19 ERA in 43 games with the Round Rock Express (Triple A Pacific Coast League).

Snyder possesses a fastball that sits in the low 90s, a changeup and a curveball.

The Monkeys have released Francisco Cruceta because he hadn't finished serving a 100 game suspension issued by MLB following a positive test for a performance-enhancing drug in 2011.
