Baseball Still not Popular in Asia

Discussion in the Baseball Asia forum
Baseball Still not Popular in Asia
I am a Malaysian. There are still a lot of people here that don't know how to play baseball, and it's not popular, except for the people who play softball or few baseball clubs. Within Asia, baseball is just popular in Japan, Taiwan, and Korea. Some countries have baseball clubs, but they aren't popular and the government didn't instigate them.

Ummm, not every Asian country has baseball as it's favorite sport. Malaysia's top sport is badminton.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
