Mariners Sign Two Chinese Players

Discussion in the Baseball Asia forum
Mariners Sign Two Chinese Players
The Seattle Mariners have signed IF/OF Yu Bing Jia and catcher Wei Wang [TSN].

Yu, 24, and Wang, 28, are a little old to be considered prospects. Just a few days ago the New York Yankees signed 19 year old prospects Kai Liu and Zhenwang Zhang.

The Mariners were the first team to sign a player from China - pitcher Chao Wang. He was 0-2 with a 4.86 ERA in two seasons at rookie ball before being released.

Can you give me some more info on Yu Bing Jia, like his birthday and some stats?
