Hawaii Winter Baseball won't play at Murakami Stadium
Hawaii Winter Baseball announced today that it will play all of its 2007 schedule at Hans L'Orange Park in Waipahu, save for 12 games on Neighbor Islands, because of the apparent unavailability of Les Murakami Stadium during the fall.

I'm a professional baseball player in Mexico and I want to know, how can I play in Hawaii Winter Baseball? Can anyone help me?

Well, asking on the official Hawaii Winter Baseball site might get you a more definitive answer than what I can give you here.

For an overview, though, my understanding of how the HWB recruits players is that they talk with the various leagues including Japan, Korea, Taiwan, as well as AA and AAA teams in North America. The teams participating decide who to send over, and they pay the HWB a fee to cover room and transportation expenses, while the players are in charge of paying for food, souvenirs, and other recreational activities.

So anyone interested in participating in the HWB will most likely need to discuss this with his team, and find out if the team and/or league has a working agreement with HWB.
