This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

Kim becomes the first field manager to become the president and CEO of a team in the Korean Baseball Organization. Like the NPB, most KBO team executives come from within the corporate ranks of the team's parent firm, often with very little baseball experience or knowledge. Kim compiled 1,463 managerial wins out of 2,653 games and 10 Korean Series titles in 22 years with the Haitai/Kia Tigers 1983-2000 and the Samsung Lions 2001-2004.
Sun compiled a KBO pitching record of 146-40, with 132 saves and a 1.25 ERA. In 11 years with the Haitai Tigers, Sun earned three MVP awards and six Golden Gloves. From 1996 to 1999, Sun was a closer with Chunichi Dragons of the Japanese Central League.
