Johjima Out for Season

Discussion in the NPB News forum
Johjima Out for Season
The good news for the Hawks is that they avoided the sweep at the hands of Marines. The bad news is, obviously, is that Johjima has gone bust. [Full Story - Japan Ball]

At this point, I think the Hawks would have rather lost that game than lose Johjima for the season.

That is a big blow to the Hawks' chances, it's almost like the Mets losing Piazza in his prime. Who's replacing Johjima?

Matoba replace Johjima in the last two games. Did nothing! (Taguchi came after Matoba was pinch hit for on Saturday.)
