Furuta Becomes Player-Manager
Well, we all knew it was coming, but it's now official - Atsuya Furuta will be Yakult's player manager from next year. [Full Story - Mainichi Daily News]

Great news as far as I'm concerned. I am interested to see what his "concrete plans" for getting more fans to come to Jingu are. Firing the whole marketing department and hiring people who know what they're doing would be a start (and redesigning that "penguin").
