Nippon Ham Interested In Phillies' Minor Leaguer
The Nippon Ham Fighters are looking into acquiring outfielder Randy Ruiz of the Philadelphia Phillies' AA team, the Reading Phillies. According to the Reading official stats page, Ruiz batted .349 with 27 HR's and 89 RBI at AA in 2005. You can see his complete biography from the Reading Phillies Bio page. One note that the press might take notice of is the fact that Randy has been suspended twice for violating the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program, according to KFFL.com
