Rakuten Signs Lin
The Rakuten Eagles have signed Taiwanese pitcher Lin Ying-chieh to a two year contract. Lin will make 30 million (3,000-man) yen in salary, along with a 50 million (5,000-man) yen salary bonus.

Lin went 12-10 with a 2.36 ERA with the Macoto Cobras of the CPBL. He leaves the Cobras with a career 45-31 record and a career 2.66 ERA.
