Kiyohara: Orix Buffaloes for 2006
Japan Ball carried a Kyodo News report that Kazuhiro Kiyohara will join the 2006 Orix Buffaloes for 250 million (2.5-oku) yen. The former Seibu Lion and Youmiuri Giant star credits former Orix manager Akira Ohgi's advice to Kiyohara to "just come back to Osaka." His 514 homers are the fifth highest in NPB history.
