Takatsu returns to the Swallows
Closer Shingo Takatsu becomes the second pitcher to return to Yakult from the Major Leagues this off season, following Kazuhisa Ishii's return. [Full Japan Ball Story]

I am overjoyed at this news as he adds yet another option for us in relief. Our pitching (and indeed batting) is looking promising for the coming season.

Plus I'll be able to dust off my old Takatsu shirt again!
