Jeff Leifer
I though I saw Californian Jeff Leifer sign with the Giants? But, I have not seen his name anywhere. Where did he go?

Jeffery Liefer (リーファー) was signed to a 50-man (50 million) yen deal on 12-22-05. He is currently on the Lions farm team, Invoice. He hit 2-run home run in the sixth on opening day (3-26) off of Yuuya Kamada to tie the game at 2, where it finished.

His stats are available here (EL Leaders, more complete) and here (Invoice Batters, more complete). Farm game boxscores can be found here.

If you are unable to read Japanese, stat translations are at the here (Pro Yakyu Encyclopedia: Glossary). The following are not:
盗塁 - stolen base
死球 - hit-by-pitch
長打率 - SLG
出塁率 - OBP

Hope this helps.

Yes, the Lions farm team, was bought by Invoice, making it the Invoice Lions.

Well, I hope the team fits the bill for the new owners.
