This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

This comes after Kanemura criticized manager Trey Hillman for his decision to take Kanemura out of Sunday's game, in which Kanemura responded, "I'll never forgive him. He is a foreign manager, so he probably doesn't even care about individual stats. I don't even want to see his face."
Kanemura later apologized to team management for his remarks, but according to a Nippon Ham official, Toshimasa Shimada, wasn't convinced with a slap on the wrist. Shimada went onto say: Kanemura released a statement saying, "As someone who should know better as a member of society, I have done a shameful thing. I think this was a gracious act of them, considering they could have easily fired me. I sincerely accept my punishment."
Hillman said that no one is immune to mistakes and was convinced that Kanemura did want to win. Kanemura [NPB-BIS Player Page - In Japanese] is 9-6 with a 4.48 ERA in 23 games. Nippon Ham said the Fighters would reconsider the suspension shall they reach the Nippon Series.
