Just heard that Nerio Rodriguez, who was leading the PCL in ERA, has just left the Memphis Redbirds and is signing with a Japanese team. Anyone have info on which team or how much he is signing for?

The June 11, 2003 Japan Today [Link] reports that the Kintetsu Buffaloes have signed Cardinals' AAA farmhand Nerio Rodriguez. The right-handed Dominican will probably be slotted to pitch in the starting rotation after his arrival in Japan this week.
