This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

Anybody else find it interesting to see the Giants basically depleting the Pacific League of their stars? Strangely enough, I don't think this will hurt Nippon Ham that much. As long as Seguignol and Inaba can hit homers, I see them challenging for a playoff spot again. I don't think anyone predicted Darvish to blossom so quickly. With Kensuke Tanaka stepping it up at second base, this should give Kuniyuki Kimoto some motivation to get things done, since he'll be needed at third. This move will also probably lead to Darvish being the sole face of Nippon Ham, which is some huge pressure for such a young kid. I predict that Trey Hillman will be taking off a lot of that burden, though.
I expect either Kosaka to give up the #2 spot to Guts or he goes ahead and takes Kiyohara's #5.
