Marines Sign Wu

Discussion in the NPB News forum
Marines Sign Wu
The Chiba Lotte Marines signed pitcher Wu Si-Yo to an two year contract [Japan Ball] with a 30 million yen/year salary, plut a 40 million yen signing bonus. Also, the Marines have an option for a third year.

Wu [NPB-BIS Konami Cup Player Page] went 17-3 with an 2.27 ERA with the La New Bears last year.

Sounds great if his stats translate well to Japan. I just wish Chiba made some moves to get at least two big bats.
