Chunichi to Sign Joe Valentine
It was announced on January 9, 2007 that the Chunichi Dragons are close to an agreement with right handed pitcher Joe Valentine [Baseball-Reference] from the Houston Astros' AAA organization. The Dragons plan on using Valentine to setup for closer Iwase as part of the team's "winning equation."
