Hawks' Jolbert Cabrera Colombian Championship MVP
Softbank Hawks' player Jolbert Cabrera led the Tigres de Cartagena in a four game sweep over Caimanes de Barranquilla for the Colombian Professional Basbeall League Championship.

Cabrera collected seven hits, one home run, three doubles, nine RBIs, and three runs with a .538 batting average to become the Series MVP. Jolbert also had a 1.000 slugging pct. and .625 OBP.

Congrats!

The Latin players who play in the winter leagues every year are amazing. They're playing ball all year around (and presumably always in shape).

Small correction, former Hawk Cabrera signed with St.Louis. Though with Aaron Miles being guaranteed a spot, his odds are low of cracking the opening day roster.

I wonder if his time in Japan helped him have such a great performance with the bat.

By the way, I'm pretty sure he doesn't play for the Hawks anymore. Didn't he sign a deal with a major league team?
