Hanshin Air

Discussion in the NPB News forum
Hanshin Air
A new venture has started in Osaka. This is a helicopter taxi service between Yao City Airport (South Osaka) and Koshien Stadium. The helicopter costs around 40,000 yen for a 20 minute flight and is of course painted in Hanshin Tigers colors.

And on its maiden flight, Shinjo will sky dive from the helicopter onto the field and announce he's coming out of retirement to join the Tigers again, reports the Osaka bureau of The Onion.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
