Pro Yakyu Live! April 25, 2007
Time once again for Pro Yakyu Live! It's over to the Pacific League tonight at Osaka's Kyocera Dome where the Orix Buffaloes will be hosting the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles. Ma-kun (Tanaka) is scheduled to start for Rakuten, and veteran Yoshii for Orix. Yoshii is 0 and 3 on the season so far whereas Tanaka is coming of a 13 strike out performance against the Hawks.

Tune in here as 6:00pm JST [World Clock] approaches. The complete audio will be posted after the game (barring technical blunders on my part).

Those of you with Skype (and a headset) can click on the blue button at the bottom of this page during the game to call in and ask questions or give some commentary.

Hope to have you all tune in live!

Ma-kun didn't do so well tonight, and Yoshii managed to get his first win of the season. There were a number of hit batsmen in this one, and the benches cleared twice, with Yamasaki being pulled back to the Eagles' dugout and Rhodes being ejected in the big one in the ninth. (There appeared to be a number of minor skirmishes going on; I'm guessing that Rhodes was the only one caught going too far. I'm surprised Yamasaki wasn't ejected for bopping Hidaka on the head at the very start of it all.)

The full audio of the game is located here [46MB MP3]. I hope you all enjoy the game.

I did tune in for some of the game. Just wanted to say I really appreciate having the opportunity to listen in like that. Thanks for all the effort you put in to make the games available.

Nice job on the play by play also!
