Pete Walker to BayStars

Discussion in the NPB News forum
Pete Walker to BayStars
I just read on MLB.com that Toronto Blue Jays' pitcher Pete Walker has been sold to Yokohama.

A couple of years ago it was looking like Walker would be a solid starter for the Jays, but 2003 was an injury-filled washout. And he's not getting any younger. Yokohama is probably his last chance to play pro ball. I hope he does well, I've always thought he was pretty talented.

Walker looks like a pretty good signing for them. In 2002, Walker was 10-5 with a 4.33 ERA in 37 games, 20 of them starting.
