Scott McClain To Replace Alex Cabrera
The Seibu Lions have reaquired infielder Scott McClain to replace the injured slugger Alex Cabrera. The 32-year-old, who played three season for the Leos before being released this past season, signed a one-year contract worth 60 million yen.

McClain had originally signed a minor-league pact with the Chicago Cubs' organization, but decided to return to Japan. He has lots of power, but could improve on his batting average, however.
