2004 All Star Games: July 10 and 11

2004 All Star Games: July 10 and 11
As I mentioned during last week's Game of the Week, I've got a local matsuri that I'll be at most of this weekend. What I didn't realize at the time was that this weekend is the All Star Series. If there's any interest in me doing the games live, I'll do my best to cover the second half of each game. But I won't be home for the start of either game. If there is interest, is there also anyone in Japan who'll be in front of the TV who can cover the starts of the games this weekend?

A viable alternative is Yahoo! Sports Japan. Yes, it's in Japanese, but you can at least see each pitch location, where the runners are, and the score. If anyone knows of other services, please post them here.

Obviously, I'd be interested at least on the second game, since I'll be at my radio show at that time. I was planning on following the game with the Yahoo! Sports feed, but it's much more fun and informative to follow the game with the usual Game of the Week gang. So I don't mind either way, but I'd definitely be there for Sunday's coverage and probably part of Saturday's as well if you chose to do it.

Sounds like you have a busy couple of days, though - so it's really up to you. If you did, you'd have at least one fan there - that I can assure you. =)

If the game is at the ussual time it would be interesting. Any earlier it would be hard for me. You do have a busy weekend, but the decision is up to you.

Hi,

Is there a link you could provide that shows the box scores for the All-Star Games?

I went to the Yahoo! Japan baseball site, but I got confused, and couldn't figure out how to find the All-Star Games.

If you don't mind seeing the boxscores in Japanese, here are the links to them at the Yahoo! Sports site:

I haven't found any boxscores in English yet, though.

Hope these help!
