This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

I for one have always felt that if you were going to play games in other non NPB cities, that if that town had a 30,000 seat capacity stadium, they should have their own team.
There is between 70-80 plyers per current 12 teams, and many see very little playing time under the current system. Why not expand to cities that have a solid 30,000 seat stadium? You could even fill in gaps by expanding the draft and taking more of the better Industrial League players.
With 8 team leagues you could even get wild and, say, have two divisions in each league.
