Two games this evening got out of hand early on, then saw the losing teams come back. Yokohama had an 8-0 lead, then went to extra innings before winning on Kinjyoh's sayonara two run home run.
This game, Yakult got out to an early 9-0 lead. How close did it come? How exciting was the Tigers' Lucky Seven? Read on to find out.

22:24: MHStevie - So yeah, it's nice to see the BayStars beat Yomiuri at their own game with the big bats at the end!

22:28: westbaystars - Others have the interview just for TV and radio, not broadcast to the stands.
22:28: westbaystars - If they did that here, they didn't show it on TV, which is Hanshin's broadcast.
22:30: MHStevie - Interesting... any read on who might have taken the award had it been given?
22:30: MHStevie - Or was it a team victory with no real standout?
22:31: MHStevie - I saw Iwamura's 2-run shot, but Yakult was already up six runs at that point...

22:31: westbaystars - There were a couple of home runs, but not when they really mattered.
