Fighters To Acquire Botts
The Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters will accquire Rangers outfielder/first baseman Jason Botts [Baseball-Reference].

Botts batted .158/.304/.395 with 2 HR's and 5 RBI in 15 games and 38 AB this year with the Rangers. He batted .230/.325/.344 with 5 HR's and 28 RBI in 93 games and 282 AB's over 4 years with the Rangers.

To make room for Botts, infielder Mitch Jones has been put on waivers.
