This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

Nonetheless, this evening's Pro Yakyu Live! broadcast is available here [70MB MP3]. And it had an incredible ending.
Spoiler alert! If you haven't already heard, stop reading here!
Ryuichi Kajimae, who came into the game defensively in the top of the 10th inning, hit a sayonara home run in his first ichi-gun at bat. This was just his third game, he had come in on two other occasions as a defensive replacement. And with one down and on a 1-1 pitch from Kawasaki, Kajimae lines the ball to the Giants fans in right. Sayonara!
Wow. Not much going right for the Marines lately. But it was quite an ending to the game.
