Giants to Face Lions in Nippon Series
The Yomiuri Giants have just finished off the Chunichi Dragons at Tokyo Dome to take Game 4 and guarantee that the Dragons cannot finish with more wins in the Central League Climax Series Stage Two.

More news to follow.

I'll be at games 1 and 6 at the Tokyo Dome, sitting on the third base side cheering for the Lions!

I'll probably make it to the first game at the Seibu Dome to cheer for my new Pacific League favorite. I still haven't decided which of these Japan Series games I'll be attending, but the Tokyo Dome is probably a big no for me.

Well, despite hating both teams, this is turning out to be an interesting Japan Series! I think I always disliked Seibu because when I first arrived in Japan in the '90s they always ruled the PL and they had Higashio the Headhunter at the helm. Watching the Japan Series, however, I like the team and manager they have now.

Of course I wouldn't feel this way if they were playing the Tigers (like they were supposed to!), but I'll be cheering them on.

Considering how little experience Nabe-Q has as manager, and knowing how many star players the Lions have lost, such as Cabrera and Wada, I am very impressed with this new Lions and the Lions organization as a whole who manage to produce one champion team after an another.

Yeah, I guess they really didn't like losing after their first B-class finish in years. So they quickly went back to their winning ways.
