Sasaki Removed from Active Roster

Sasaki Removed from Active Roster
BayStars' closer, Kazuhiro Sasaki, was removed from the BayStars' active roster Friday, after he allowed the Swallows score two runs in a come from behind win. Sasaki volunteered to pitch at ni-gun to regain his form. So far this year, Sasaki is 0-3 with 4 saves and 9.53 ERA in 8 games. [Link - Japan Ball]

What I'm wondering is, is the injury Sasaki had with the Mariners in 2003 still bothering him?
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
