I was a bit surprised by the match ups of today's two games. While I was able to figure out the second game, the first one didn't make any sense when I was looking at the brackets posted on japanesebaseball.com.

I'm so glad Keio lost and was ousted. Seeing one of my old high schools being feed to this school with little hope of winning made this victory bittersweet for yours truly. Not to mention also that they made my kids cry. And yes, Keio is that popular. Many of my friends who were in town to catch the BayStars/Tigers series went to see Keio and were late to the BayStars game. And when I told them I was happy that Keio lost, they gave me a hard time.
