The Pro Yakyu Report Vol. 1.27 - Most Hits Allowed

The Pro Yakyu Report Vol. 1.27 - Most Hits Allowed
Chunichi's Daisuke Yamai threw a no-hitter against Yokohama on Friday, June 28. But that very same game, Yokohama's starter, Shoichi Inoh, allowed 7 runs on 7 hits in the first inning. Then stayed in the game to pitch 6 innings, allowing a total of 8 runs on 11 hits. Did anyone hear of that?

Ma-Kun giving up 15 hits really suprised me, but the fact he got the win may mean that he has this knack for getting out of jams, so that probably means he is deadly in whatever situation you put him in. Also it probably means that he has unbelievable self belief that he can succeed in any given situation.

I do wonder when relievers give up so many hits per inning and there is a no decision for them whether it was in a blow out situation where the manager probably just wanted to get through the game

Inui giving up 10 ER and 10 Hits in 3 innings is another one that stood out for me

Also the fact that there are a fair few decent names there

It makes me wonder about something semi related, with the top pitchers in NPB, what pitch and what type of out tends to be their money maker

So... this was interesting. But other things I'd like to know...

--What team has scored the most runs with two outs?
&
--And many teams have walked in runs this season. How many bases-loaded walks, and what teams lead in those areas?

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback, Azza-san and Gibson-san. I've added the suggestions to the research subject list.
