Many thanks for the kind comments. I chose the name for pure functionality but am open to suggestions. What do people think?

"Tiger Tails" is great. I love it! And so far the tale is great: 3 victories and no losses. Tora tora tora!

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

GREAT to have this blog and I'm looking forward to my daily dose as the season starts. But wouldn't it be even better with a snazzy name? Maybe "Tigerstripes," or "Hooked on Hanshin," or just "The Daily Tora." I dunno. But Westbay-san has a cute name for his blog and us Torakichi don't want to be left behind. Thanks again and looking forward to 2008!
